DJ Rolando live @ Hi Tek Soul, Ministry of Sound - London.
We found this mix online from when Rolando played for the legendary techno night Hi Tek Soul at MoS, London. I think the night iteself also featured Derrick May, Stacy Pullen, Ken Ishii and Jim Masters - highlighting the company Rolando frequently keeps.
It's a 50 minute section of what was an epic 3 hour set. Whilst the mix itself casually drifts between Detroit Techno, Acid House and Deep House it maintains a locked groove which is stereotypical of Mr Roland Rocha. He constantly builds the vibe, drops it and then smashes it back in.
We've had this on rotation for the last few days and it just adds to the excitement of seeing him in the very intimate surroundings of the Roadhouse.
